Meet Mike
Mike Vahdat founded Ambiance Atlanta to help clients around “The Hollywood of the South” create unique physical spaces that bring their personal visions to life using modern construction techniques - from embracing the latest design trends to the use of eco-friendly sustainable materials.
After completing his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), Mike started his professional career in heavy machinery manufacturing - where he rapidly progressed to become Vice President of Engineering for a global firm.
Everything changed when his first daughter was born and the travel required of a global executive no longer aligned with his priorities - being around for life’s most important moments. Having worked in residential and commercial construction during his time as a student at GA Tech, Mike decided to strike out on his own as an entrepreneur in 1999.
Since that time, Mike and his team have built over 150 new homes, developed multiple neighborhoods, and led countless design + build + remodel projects for residential and commercial clients in the Atlanta area.

Meet Grace
Grace Vahdat completed her studies in Applied Information Technology at UB in 2002. However, her passion for learning didn’t stop there. In 2007, she pursued her love for design by earning a certificate in Interior Design. Since then, Grace has transformed spaces, creating stunning interiors for homes, offices, stores, and more.
Her enthusiasm for floral design led her to earn a flower arrangement certificate in 2022, and she’s since been involved in designing floral arrangements for multiple weddings and birthday parties.
In addition to her creative pursuits, Grace has a solid background in office administration, where she’s helped several businesses grow and stay on the right track. Her diverse skill set reflects her dedication to both artistic and business development.

Meet Elmer Barientos
Elmer Barientos is a seasoned manager with experience in three different countries and within multinational companies. This background has equipped him with the skills to manage personnel at various levels, develop market strategies, handle budgets, and efficiently manage time. His strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and teamwork has contributed to both his professional growth and his ability to leave a lasting impact on those around him. In addition to his management expertise, Elmer B. is also a teacher and lawyer with studies in finance and key account management. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.
